Erik Thorsen

Sixteen years of experience in decorative metal finishing for luxury applications. Erik operates LUNDEN's in-house plating facility, capable of gold, chrome, nickel, and titanium finishes on hardware components. His speciality is brushed brass — a signature LUNDEN finish achieved through a proprietary satin-brushing technique that produces a consistent grain direction across all hardware on an aircraft. Every piece is hand-finished to eliminate machine marks, then sealed with a micro-thin lacquer that prevents tarnishing at altitude humidity levels. He previously ran the plating workshop at Georg Jensen in Copenhagen.
