Ingrid Holm

Trained at the Swedish National Trade School in Kramfors, Ingrid completed a four-year apprenticeship at the Jespersen & Lund veneer workshop in Jutland before joining LUNDEN. She specialises in bookmatching — the art of opening consecutive veneer sheets like pages of a book to create mirror-image grain patterns across wide surfaces. Her work on The Sovereign project involved bookmatching 48 sheets of smoked oak across 14 metres of uninterrupted cabinetry. She personally selects every veneer log used in LUNDEN projects, travelling to mills in Germany, France, and West Africa.
